I've always loved the AI "time-freeze" effect, where one person claps and the whole world stops around them. So this week I tried it with my 8-year-old, Mateo.

I gave the AI a single photo of him and it dropped him into the middle of a busy trampoline park. He claps, everyone freezes mid-bounce with the balls hanging in the air, he wanders through it all, then claps everything back to life. One photo, one prompt, fifteen seconds. The kids have watched it about forty times.

Here's the exact prompt so you can make one with your own child.

  • A clear photo of your child — well lit, face visible, ideally full-body so the AI has the whole figure to work with.
  • Seedance 2.0 — the AI video tool that turns the photo plus the prompt into the clip. Here's our Seedance review.
  • 68 credits on Higgsfield (15 secs | 720p), about 5 minutes to render.

How to make it

  1. Open Seedance 2.0 and start a new image-to-video generation.
  2. Upload one clear photo of your child as the reference image. This is the @image1 in the prompt.
  3. Paste the prompt below and generate. It renders in native 4K.
  4. Watch the result, then try swapping the trampoline park for any setting your child loves.

The prompt

Replace @image1 with your child's photo. If your child is a girl, change "a boy" to "a girl" throughout. The trampoline park is just my example, you can swap it for a football pitch, a playground or the beach.

[CINEMATIC SETUP]
Style: Ultra-realistic cinematic, grounded time-freeze concept, joyful indoor-play energy, warm and funny tone.
Camera: Smooth cinematic tracking, controlled push-ins, subtle orbit moments.
Lens: 35mm, 50mm.
Color Grade: Bright indoor play-centre light, punchy clean colours, subtle cinematic polish.
Atmosphere: Busy trampoline park, people bouncing everywhere, a foam pit, bright even lighting, energetic fun.

[CHARACTER]
Main Subject: A boy @image1, wearing a t-shirt, shorts and grippy socks. Relaxed, confident, playful, a little mischievous.
Background people: Other people mid-jump and mid-flip across the trampolines, a foam ball mid-air, later all frozen in place.
Environment: A grid of trampolines with padded walls and a foam pit, a figure frozen upside-down at the top of a somersault.

[TIMELINE]
0-2s: [Medium frontal tracking shot, 50mm] He is bouncing across the trampolines. He gives one sharp clap and at that exact moment time freezes completely. Everyone hangs suspended mid-jump, the foam ball stops in the air, all motion stops instantly.
2-6s: [Lateral tracking shot, 35mm] Now the only one able to move, he walks and gently bounces through the time-frozen park with a relaxed grin, looking around as he realises everything is suspended.
6-11s: [Smooth tracking + subtle orbit, 35mm] He plays with the time-frozen scene: reaches up and high-fives a figure suspended upside-down at the top of a somersault, spins the floating foam ball so it hangs at a new angle, then stands directly underneath someone suspended at the very peak of a jump and looks up, amused.
11-15s: [Frontal tracking shot, 50mm] He strolls back to the middle of the trampolines, gives one last sharp clap, and time instantly snaps back to life. Everyone resumes bouncing mid-air, the foam ball flies again, and motion and sound flood back all at once, while he stands in the centre of the restored chaos with a satisfied, knowing grin.

[STYLE & QUALITY]
Photorealistic 8K, realistic trampoline-park motion, clean time-freeze effect, coherent frozen figures, cinematic movement, grounded visual realism, playful pacing.
  • Use a full-body photo if you can. The AI has more of your child to track as they walk through the frozen scene.
  • Keep the clap. The "one sharp clap, time freezes" line is what actually sells the effect, so don't cut it.
  • Change the setting. Same prompt, different world: a frozen football pitch, a frozen playground, a frozen beach with a wave mid-crash.
