Happy Sunday! Here's what we've been working on.

1. New Family Project: Turning Mateo's Robot Into a Cinematic AI Video
My 8-year-old son Mateo has a robot toy he loves to play with. Nothing fancy, just a plastic robot. But it's his favorite.
This week I wanted to test Kling 2.6's new first and last frame feature. My ideaπ‘:
β
βTurn that robot into something cinematic. A professional product shot, an explosion into all its tiny parts, a smooth reassembly, and finally the robot landing in Mateo's arms.
The result? Four connected 5-second videos that tell a complete story.
When Mateo saw the final edit, he said: "That's the coolest thing I ever saw."
His eyes went wide. He couldn't believe that from just taking a picture of him with his robot, we created something that looked like a movie trailer.
The whole project took about an hour and cost only 100 Kling credits (out of 3,000 monthly). I used Nano Banana Pro to generate 5 consistent images, then Kling 2.6 to animate the transitions between them.

2. New in Parent's Research Labβ
I published 4 new articles this week. Two on AI video, two on AI music.
β
AI Video Tools:
- βKling 01 Review β Kling's biggest update ever just dropped. 10-second 1080p videos, natural language editing, and Hollywood-level VFX. This is the model I'm planning some exciting family projects with.
- βLeonardo AI for Kids β Complete parent's guide to one of the most popular AI art tools. Covers safety, pricing, and practical tips for family projects.
AI Music Tools:
- βUdio Review β Studio-quality songs from text prompts. Great for teaching song structure, though downloads are temporarily disabled.
- βSuno vs Udio Comparison β Which AI music maker should your family try first? Short answer: Suno for quick fun, Udio for learning how music is built.
β
That's it for this week. Short and sweet.
P.S. Next week I'm testing that new Kling 01 model with the kids. Planning something creative that combines multiple family members in one video. Stay tuned.
